Considered among the top of blues harp player/vocalists in Baltimore and Washington area, Roger delivers a smooth blend of style from traditional and contemporary harp masters such as Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, George Smith, Slim Harpo and Kim Wilson. It's no wonder why he's becoming a legend with many local harp enthusiasts. In addition to fronting his own band the Porkchop & Top Dogs, Roger has worked with some of the region's best: The David Earl Band, Bad Influence, Dave Sherman and The Nightcrawlers, Whop Frazier, The James Mabry Band, The Cathy Ponton King Band, and Blind Pig recording artist Jimmy Thackery. |
